Welcome to Rx Performance
We’re excited to have you train with us! This agreement explains what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. By joining Rx Performance ("the gym"), you’re entering into an agreement with Thrive Healthcare Pte. Ltd. (“we”, “our Company”).
1. Who We Are
Rx Performance is a brand operated by Thrive Healthcare Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201832232H). All contracts, payments and liabilities under this agreement belong to Thrive Healthcare Pte. Ltd.
All contracts, payments, and liabilities are held by Thrive Healthcare Pte. Ltd.
The Company’s authorised management team (“Management”) administers memberships, enforces safety rules, and upholds service standards.
2. Your Membership
Your membership is personal and can’t be shared or transferred. Members must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent if younger. You can cancel anytime by writing to us at least 30 days before your next billing date. If you break rules or put others at risk (after we’ve warned you), we may suspend or cancel your membership. Fees and charges may change with notice, but we’ll always act fairly and in good faith.
3. Pausing Your Membership
Need a break? You can pause your membership for a short period depending on your plan:
10-session pack/LiftRx Pack – 7 days
20-session pack/LiftRx Pack – 14 days
30-session pack/LiftRx Pack - 21 days
3 months – 14 days
6 months - 28 days
Legends 10-session pack - 7 days
Legends Couple 10-session pack - 7 days
Membership types not listed aren’t eligible for pauses. Send pause requests at least 5 business days before you want the pause to start. A $25 admin fee applies if the request is late or goes beyond the limit. Your membership automatically reactivates when the pause ends. Locker rental is extended for the same pause period.
4. Refunds and Cancellations
All sales are final. We don’t normally offer refunds. Refunds may be approved only for:
-
Medical reasons (with a doctor’s note)
-
Job relocation overseas (with proof)
-
Death of a member (refund to next of kin)
Approved refunds are pro-rated and exclude promotional sessions. An admin fee of $25 or 5% (whichever is higher) applies. Refunds are processed within 30 business days.
Non-Refundable Items:
-
Merchandise (apparel, supplements, accessories)
-
Digital content or online programs
-
Gift cards or vouchers
-
Sessions lost to lateness or no-shows
We may occasionally offer goodwill credits at our discretion. This policy follows Singapore’s Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003.
5. Classes and Open Gym (Cruise)
Book your sessions in advance. We are entitled to impose a $10 late fee if you do not cancel within the free cancellation window (i.e. at least 8 hours before morning classes and 1.5 hours before others). Three late cancellations in 28 days may limit your booking privileges. Classes start on time with a 5-minute grace period. Late entries after this grace period are not allowed. Open Gym sessions end as scheduled (no extensions for late arrival).
6. Your Health and Safety
Please complete our PAR-Q form before starting. Let us know about any injury or health condition. Don’t train if you’re ill or contagious. Use equipment safely and ask our team if you’re unsure. We may stop a session if we believe continuing is unsafe.
The Company is not liable for injuries resulting from improper use of equipment or failure to follow instructions, except where caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
7. Members with Medical Conditions, Disabilities or Limited Experience
If you have a chronic condition, disability, or special health need, please tell us and provide medical clearance if asked. We’ll do our best to accommodate you, though some activities may not be suitable for every member. If you’re new to training or to gym equipment, we recommend an introductory session and encourage you to ask for help whenever needed. We aren’t liable for injuries from undisclosed conditions or unsafe use of equipment, unless caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
8. Pregnant, Senior and Younger Members
Pregnant members: Tell us and get your doctor’s clearance. We may modify your workouts for safety. Seniors, join at your own pace, please consult a doctor first if you are unsure. Minors (under 18): Need written consent from a parent or guardian and may require supervision.
9. Drugs, Alcohol and Conduct
Please don’t enter the gym under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We may remove anyone behaving disorderly or unsafely and cancel membership without refund if behaviour endangers others.
10. Trainers and Guests
Outside personal trainers must be approved by us first. We don’t accept liability for their services. If you bring a guest, you’re responsible for their safety and conduct.
11. Online Training
When you join our virtual sessions, please exercise caution and follow instructions carefully. We’re not liable for injuries caused by unsafe set-ups or connectivity issues, unless due to our gross negligence.
12. Your Data Privacy
We collect, use, and disclose your personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
By signing this agreement, you consent to our collection and use of your information for operational, safety, and communication purposes, including managing your membership, scheduling classes, and maintaining training records.
For full details on how we handle personal data, please read our Rx Performance Data Protection Notice, available on our website at www.rxperformance.sg/pdpa-policy.
You may withdraw consent for specific uses of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@rxperformance.sg though withdrawal may affect our ability to provide services.
We keep your information secure and only share it with authorised staff or service providers who meet PDPA protection standards.
13. Photos and Videos
We may take photos or videos during classes or events for marketing, social media, or training purposes.
If you prefer not to appear, please let us know in writing before your session — we’ll make reasonable efforts to respect your request. Incidental or background appearances in shared spaces may still occur. These are generally unavoidable, but we always use images respectfully and only for legitimate purposes that reflect our community positively.
Please don’t take photos or videos of other members or staff without their consent.
For more information about photography and videography rules, please refer to our Comprehensive Liability Waiver & Release.
For data-related concerns, contact us at hello@rxperformance.sg
14. Service Interruptions
We try to keep the gym open without disruptions. If maintenance or repairs are needed, we’ll let you know and may offer a make-up session or short extension at our discretion. This will be our only form of compensation.
15. Extensions
15A. Membership Extensions
-
A one-time extension fee of S$75 applies for an extension of up to 4 weeks.
-
Requests must be made before the membership expiry date. Expired memberships are not automatically extended.
-
Additional or repeat extensions will not be granted, except under exceptional circumstances determined solely by the Company.
-
Administrative adjustments (including system and app reactivation) are included in this fee.
15B. Goodwill Extensions (One-Time Only)
-
From time to time, the Company may, at its sole discretion, approve a one-time goodwill extension of a Member’s paid membership if there are remaining unconsumed sessions or gym passes at the time the membership expires.
-
This extension is a discretionary goodwill arrangement to help Members complete unused sessions and is not an entitlement, recurring service, or automatic benefit.
-
The Company reserves the right to decline, withdraw, or terminate an extension at any time if it believes the terms have been misused or misrepresented.
-
This goodwill extension policy is provided to maintain fairness to all Members and to reflect the administrative effort involved in facilitating membership access.
Continuity of Agreement
The Member acknowledges and agrees that any approved extension shall be treated as a continuation of the original membership. All terms and conditions of the Rx Performance Membership Agreement, the Comprehensive Liability Waiver & Release, and the Data Protection Notice shall remain valid, binding, and enforceable for the duration of the extended period, without the need for fresh signatures or renewed consent.
16. Liability and Indemnity
Training involves inherent physical risks. We take reasonable measures to maintain safety, but you agree that Rx Performance and Thrive Healthcare Pte. Ltd. are not liable for any injury, death, or loss unless caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
You agree not to hold us responsible for losses arising from your own misuse of equipment or failure to follow instructions.
These terms apply to all Company-organised sessions, classes, and events, whether conducted at the gym, online, or at any approved external location.
17. Lost and Found
We’re not responsible for lost or stolen belongings unless due to staff negligence. Unclaimed items after three (3) months may be responsibly disposed of without notice.
18. Changes to This Agreement
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make major changes, we’ll give at least 7 days’ notice by email or at the gym.
19. Comprehensive Liability Waiver & Data Protection Notice
Your membership also includes our Comprehensive Liability Waiver & Release (“the Waiver”) and our Rx Performance Data Protection Notice available on our website.
You must sign the Waiver before using our services. The Data Protection Notice explains how we manage personal data in compliance with the PDPA.
If there’s any difference between these documents:
-
The definition of safety, risk, and liability matters takes precedence in the Waiver; and
-
Data-handling transparency is guided by the Data Protection Notice.
20. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will be handled by the Singapore courts. Your rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003 remain unaffected.
21. Acknowledgement
By signing or submitting this form online, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Membership Agreement, the Comprehensive Liability Waiver & Release, and the Rx Performance Data Protection Notice available on our website.
You also give express consent under the PDPA for the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data as described in those documents.
