Our classes include movements to improve one’s strength, mobility, balance. 

Our weekly classes have athletes ranging from 50 to 90 years old.​

Loss in bone mass, risk of falls, and other issues can be avoided.

 

Our weekly classes have athletes ranging from 50 years to 90 years young!  As physiotherapists, our coaches will take into account your preexisting conditions and modify the workouts to keep you safe whilst getting you stronger.

Strength Training for Seniors
We are the first fitness program in Singapore for elderly led by physiotherapists.​

We take on a results-based approach teaching safe and effective methods to improve functional movement in activities of daily living.

Thrive Healthcare’s Legends © class for seniors is currently the only seniors’ strength class in Singapore conducted by qualified physiotherapists. All the trainers who run Legends © are fully registered and practising physiotherapists, as well as BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)-certified.

As such, each new participant undergoes a comprehensive interview with a physio before embarking on the programme.

"This is to better understand their overall health, both physical and mental. It also gives us a clear baseline, in addition to the targeted assessments we use to track measurable progress," explains physiotherapist-trainer Melissa.

... Such is the draw of Legends © that it has turned sceptics like Vincent, a current participant, into believers. Two years ago, the 76-year-old was unconvinced that Legends © sessions could help him.

"But he trusted us to guide him through his fitness journey while co-managing the rehabilitation of his existing knee and back discomforts," Melissa shares.

 

"Now he can deadlift, complete workouts, and move freely. He feels much more confident about his body, and enjoys going on holidays, which is important to him.
